For employers

Discover talent through demonstrated capability.

Meet career changers who bring years of professional experience and can show the new skills your role needs, through real project work, each piece labelled by how it was evidenced.

£1,000 for a defined 12-week pilot. Scope agreed in writing before you pay.

A hiring team reviewing candidates' project work and write-ups around a meeting table

Why hire career changers

They bring domain knowledge

Someone who spent years in healthcare, retail or finance already understands your users, your rules and the questions your teams ask.

You see their work first

Review projects, analyses and write-ups before the first interview, so conversations start from evidence rather than a CV.

Their skills are current

Pathways cover today's tools and practices, including working responsibly with AI, because that is how the work is done now.

Evidence you can trust

Every skill in a candidate's Career Proof shows how it was evidenced, so you never mistake a self-assessment for a verified competence.

  • Mentor-validated: an experienced practitioner checked the evidence and confirmed the competency.
  • Mentor-reviewed: demonstrated in a project a mentor reviewed against published criteria, with written feedback.
  • Demonstrated, awaiting review: shown in submitted project work not yet reviewed.
  • Self-checked: the candidate checked their own project work against the criteria.
  • Self-reported: the candidate's own assessment, shown as such.

Profiles are anonymised. You see a candidate code, target role, approved projects, mentor scores and evidence labels, never names, contact details, photographs or demographic information. Only candidates on Accelerate who have chosen to be visible appear.

The Employer Talent Pilot

A defined, time-limited pilot. Not an unlimited subscription, and it never renews automatically.

£1,000 · 12 weeks

What a pilot can include

Only the items listed in your signed order form are included.

  • Time-limited talent-discovery access for your named users
  • Candidate profiles and evidence that candidates have agreed to share
  • Shortlisting support against your agreed role requirements
  • Introductions where suitable candidates are available and agree
  • Optional employer project briefs
  • A closing report on the pilot's activity and findings

No placement fee. We do not guarantee candidate numbers, shortlists, interviews or hires.

How it works

  1. Tell us your roles. Share what you are hiring for and we arrange a short call.
  2. Agree the scope. We set out the dates, roles, users, access, deliverables and exclusions in an order form you sign.
  3. Start the pilot. After invoicing, your named users get access for 12 weeks.
  4. Review evidence and shortlist. Explore consenting candidates' Career Proof and invite the people you want to meet; they decide whether to respond.
  5. Close or extend. You get a closing report if included. After the end date, access continues free for 7 days so you can agree an extension in writing.

Project briefs, on fair terms

Give candidates a scoped, realistic task that reflects your team, and see how they approach your kind of problem.

  • A brief is an educational evaluation, not free commercial work.
  • Use sample or public data; do not share confidential business information without safeguards.
  • Taking part is voluntary for candidates and is not employment.
  • Candidates keep ownership of their work. Commercial use needs a separate written licence.

Candidate data, handled properly

Candidates trust us with their work. A pilot comes with clear responsibilities.

  • Use candidate data only for the agreed recruitment purpose.
  • Keep it confidential, secure and limited to people with a hiring need.
  • Never sell, publish, scrape, bulk-export or repurpose profiles.
  • Use fair, role-related criteria and avoid unlawful discrimination.
  • Delete candidate data when your pilot ends, as agreed.

Questions from employers

What does the £1,000 pilot fee cover?

The scope set out in your signed order form: the pilot dates, the roles, your named users, access limits and the deliverables you choose, such as shortlisting support, project briefs and a closing report. Nothing outside that scope is charged without a written agreement and clear pricing.

How long does a pilot last?

Normally 12 weeks from the agreed start date. After the end date your access continues free for 7 days so you can agree an extension. Pilots never renew automatically.

Which candidates will I see?

Only career changers on Accelerate who have chosen to make their Career Proof visible to employers. You see an anonymised profile: their candidate code, target role, approved projects, mentor scores and evidence labels, never their name or contact details.

Do you guarantee hires?

No. We do not guarantee candidate numbers, shortlists, introductions, interviews or hires. Availability depends on the real candidate pool and on candidates agreeing to take part.

Is there a placement fee?

No. The pilot fee covers the agreed scope. No placement fee or other extra fee applies unless we agree it with you in writing.

Can candidates work on our real problems?

Through an optional project brief, set out in your order form. A brief is an educational evaluation, not free commercial work: candidates take part voluntarily, keep ownership of their work, and you need a separate written licence to use a submission commercially.
