Your experience could change someone's career.
Help professionals turn transferable experience into real capability. SprintPivot mentors are industry practitioners and career guides, not life coaches.

What mentors do
Mentor career transitioners
Guide people moving into your field through structured sessions.
Review projects
Read submitted work alongside the brief, the rubric and private notes on what a strong answer includes.
Give practical feedback
Tell people what a hiring manager would notice, and what to do next.
Validate competencies
Sign off skills against written criteria. Your sign-off is what turns evidence teal.
Share industry knowledge
Explain how teams actually work, what tools matter and what the job is really like.
Build your reputation
A public mentor profile showing your reviews and the fields you support.
Reviews that respect your time
Submissions arrive with the brief, the candidate's notes, the rubric and mentor notes on what the data contains, so you can focus on judgement.

Questions
Who can mentor?
Practitioners with at least three years' experience in AI, data, cybersecurity or software roles. Experience of hiring or line management is helpful but not required.
How much time does it take?
You set your own availability. A typical project review takes 30 to 45 minutes, and sessions are 30 minutes.
Are mentors paid?
Yes, for each completed and accepted milestone with an Accelerate participant: initial transition session £40, two project reviews at £35 each, capstone review £50 and Career Proof validation £40 (£200 if all five are assigned). Payment is due within 14 days of acceptance. Specialist work is agreed separately in writing. Sprint participants do not receive mentor reviews.
How do you keep standards consistent?
Each competency has written criteria and example evidence. New mentors complete calibration reviews before signing off competencies.
Share what you know with someone making the move.
